My Therapy Style

I have a very laid back, but professional, therapy style. My clients decide what they want to work on and lead the therapy sessions. It is my belief that you have full capability of working through any of your life struggles you are facing, you just may need someone to help guide you.  I also love to provide education to help you better understand what is going on with your brain and body. 

I primarily use Brainspotting and talk therapy to help you process and release the root cause of your trauma, depression, anxiety, etc. I also weave in skill building using techniques you may have already heard of such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and mindfulness. Often, I utilize other brain/body-based techniques such as Emotional Freedom Tapping (EFT) as well. 

I believe therapy is important for everyone and even attend therapy myself. I have been where you are and have done the hard work myself. I love educating myself through trainings and my own journey to help people just like you.
